The Brief
Tasked to design a social media campaign for NHS Northamptonshire’s LinkedIn account, ‘Best of Both Worlds’, aimed at raising the profile of the Emergency Department Nurses’ role.

ED dept. culture is fast, and nurses are faced with different things all the time. Research showed that ED nurses felt that so much of what makes the job difficult, is exactly what makes it so rewarding.
The Outcome
A 10-post LinkedIn campaign that highlighted moments in the life of an Emergency Department nurse.
The campaign pulled focus onto a specific object or ‘moment’ in the imagery to highlight the special moments of an ED nurses’ day amidst the busy department – from talking to a patient, to dealing with the next challenge, to learning something new. Taking the main points of what ED nurses found rewarding about their job (variety, autonomy, thinking on their feet, learning, making a difference) and combining them with the skills identified that make great ED nurses (flexibility, sensitivity, longevity, decisiveness, multitasking, teamwork), led to energetic and fast-paced yet warm and purpose-driven copy - speaking directly to nurses in a conversational, empowering and reassuringly professional way.
